    Pros

Great benifits, you can work from home when needed, very knowledgeable managers, alot of group provided materials on technical issues, and ofcourse, getting a big name on your resume.

    Cons

about 70% of your career is dependent on your coach, you can work hard, be knowledgable, get good reviews but if you coach is lazy and doesn't want to present you well, its hard to get promoted. Long hours, and the problem is 80% of the staff/seniors here are like straight out of school, or with very little home responsiblity. They work like 6days a week, till 8pm on a normal basis, this increases with busy season. So if you don't want to work that much it looks bad. There proformance ratings- very difficult to get a good or exceeding rating, it is very, very competitive. You have to be, hardworking, popular, professionally attractive, and do all the extra firm crap that has nothing to do with your actual job (aka recruiting, trainings, research). If you miss one of those, points you will go from a 2 rating to a 3 rating. It sucks to do 8 out of 9 things and then fall into the group that just did there work well.

    Advice to Management

Be more clear about what is needed for a 2 or a 3 rating. Stop pushing people down from a 2 to a 3. Its rediculous, and annoys everyone. Be clear about who will get promoted. Management should have an idea in January who will get promoted in July. Don't tell people they will get promoted when you know they wont. Yea you get alittle extra work Jan to April, but when those people find out, and are rightfully upset, you end up having lazy workings from April to until they find another position.
