I worked at PwC full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Very professional working environment.
Big name / high profile clients.
Unmatched experience and exposure.
Challenging assignments.
Strong devotion to mentoring and bringing up less experienced staff.

Cons

Work life balance. I think this is pretty typical for large consulting firms. Expect to travel every week Mon-Thurs. Staying at the client site through Friday or even flying out on a Sunday is not uncommon.

I have been working at PwC full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

The company is seriously invested in my personal flexibility and my career path. They aren't kidding when they say that they are pushing for diversity and that you have to grow your own success plan.

    Cons

Long hours sometimes, but that's the nature of the industry really. I think you'd have a hard time finding an audit profession that doesn't have a busy season.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stay the course. The increase in transparency and flexibility is definitely making a difference down in the trenches.
