    Pros

Great experience. Plenty to learn, nice people.

    Cons

For this specific position there is not much of a chance to enter the practice as there once was

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Set expectations upfront, do not lead people to think this career is going to be more than it does. I do believe they are doing this now but not while I was there

I have been working at PwC

    Pros

Lots of smart people. Some of the work can be pretty interesting. You are learning all the time and every project is different. Ability to do a variety of things and go anywhere in the world.

    Cons

The expectations for hours are through the roof. A lot of your time is spent doing menial tasks, ticking and tying, or jumping through internally created hoops. Flexibility is preached but rarely practiced. Rated against your peers so politics is infinitely important. Diminishing returns to scale of performance- the people who seem to do the best. "All stars" usually burn out after a few years. Pay before the sr manager/ director level is a joke compared to the time commitment expected of associates/ seniors.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop beating around the bush and blowing us smoke. Pay us what we deserve and we'll be happy. Why is performance emphasized so much in the rating scale yet really not rewarded comp-wise?
