    Pros

A lot of intelligent people around you, a great place to start a career, a generally younger crowd, good experience and "opportunity" , great people to work with.

    Cons

Due to the nature of the work, you'll have some inescapable late nights. Due to the size of the company, you'll have annoying HR/admin initiatives that keep you from your actual work.

Great place to build a foundation but you need to leave between years 3-5 or you will hurt your career growth potential.

    I worked at PwC

    Pros

Amount of knowledge that you will learn. Working in a team environment. Fantastic client base. Interaction with tons of smart people from CFO's of clients to Partners at PwC. You also have basically summers off if you want it and have flexibility to work from home.

    Cons

Vastly underpaid (assuming you have a CPA). I left PwC making $76,000 of total compensation and in year 1 of my new job made around $150,000 total compensation. Note - I worked in the alternative investment industry at PwC, which lined me up for a unique opportunity as an assistant controller at a Private Equity firm.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

None really. They continue to be successful using their model. I felt very bitter about being underpaid and not being promoted after 1.5 years like other people were. However, 9/10 people are not ready for promotion after 1.5 years and I am in a far better position now than every person who got that early promotion.
