Pros

Great leadership team, continuous learning, and opportunity to grow. The Houston office has the best clients, whether they be energy, finance, or healthcare.

Cons

Coming in as an experience hired is difficult. Was misled by the recruited about the type of work and the 'work-life balance,' or lack of. Can be very political - definitely has a good-ole-boy feel - but coming from people who have never worked outside of Big 4. You schedule is based on billable hours, so if your efficient, you get screwed.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't mislead potential hired during recruiting. Be up front about everything - pros and cons.

I worked at PwC full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Very helpful for getting a job after - companies love "Big 4" experience. Most groups also help to expose you to a lot of different areas and provide a lot of learning.

    Cons

There is pretty much no work-life balance. Most times they'll say the summers are "slow" and you can take time off, but if you don't schedule it ahead of time you'll be stuck on some project. 60-100 hrs/week year round is not my idea of fun.
