PwC - A great place if you are a partner

Current Employee - Director  in  Seattle, WA
Current Employee - Director in Seattle, WA

I have been working at PwC

    Pros

    work flexibility
    time off
    benefits
    salary
    some really smart people
some managers, directors really care about their teams
a great place to gain experience
    work task diversity

    Cons

partners can be primadona's - unfortunately many of them have god complexes
good partners often fall out of favor with leadership who is very driven by partner profits , and control issues
you are only as good as what you sold today
advancement is equal parts competence and favoritism
bonus's are routinely driven by office politics vs performance
LOTS of red tape and bureaucracy

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look for ways to reduce your bureaucracy not add to it. Start with a "controls" must be controled philosphy versus "everyone and everything must be controled".
