    Pros

    Fairly decent salary at entry level.

    Cons

    Managers are the epitome of incompetence. Favoritism is rampant, if you are favored you can do no wrong, if they think you have a weak spot in any way they will attack you. It's pretty close to slavery if that is the case.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Stop playing favorites, stop whatever it is you are doing because it is probably wrong. Stop judging people by outer appearance or by whether they go to the same church as you, (or are an atheist), or live near you.

    Pros

    Compensation is good. Coworkers are fantastic!

    Cons

    Leadership is incompetent. QBE buys smaller insurance companies without understanding the reasons why that company was profitable. Then after the acquisition is complete, the company starts losing money. This is why QBE is losing millions of dollars every month.

    Leadership lacks honesty. Employees know the company is not making money and that offices will be closed but instead of being honest with employees about the situation, managers will and have lied to employees. Do not trust a word of what upper level managers and leaders say!

    Offices are closing and jobs are moving to Manila in The Philippines.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Employees were hired because of their intelligence. Do not insult our intelligence by lying and not thinking we have figured out the plan already. Be Honest and "transparent" as you claim to be.
