I worked at QSSI full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    - Competitive starting pay

    - Bagels every Friday

    - Great opportunity for young professionals

    Cons

    - No diversity; majority professionals from India.

    - Nepotism: 9 times out of 10 the new employee is related to someone already working at QSSI.

    - Employee's benefits suffer to compete and win contracts (sub-par health insurance, no 401k matching and forget about career development: there's no tuition or training assistance).

    - All career expanding opportunities are outsourced to India to remain competitive for the next year's re-compete on the contract and pay the top executives.

    - Workforce lacks experience due to the salary cap imposed on seasoned professionals. As a result, so called "experienced" or "senior" professionals are those who are incompetent and considered bottom of the barrel.

    - Hardware and software is considered outdated.

    - Majority of QSSI founding members and process owners are gone.

    Negative Outlook
