Pros

Great place to work for,very good 401 K plan and other medical benefits.Perfect balance between personal and professinal life. overall a very good company

Cons

Less pay in the company. People not recognized easily and people joining after you make more money than what you make.

Advice to Senior Management

Recognize talent and pay good money to retain the workforce because for maintaining talent you need to pay then good money.

I find that most larger companies follow the setting you mentioned regarding salary grade. Mine as well (BAE Systems). It's a good system, because they know that once you work there, you are always near-first pick if you decide to come back. It's how you beat the "system."
