Pros – Fun, fast-paced culture
Always a lot going on
Freedom to make valuable changes to processes within buying office
Cool to learn about production; opportunities to sit with line producer
Learn how the buying process works; sit in on vendor meetings
Learn how item selection process works; sit in on promotional item meetings with senior management

Cons – Rather low pay
As an MBA, hard to justfiy going back--difficult to know what options might be available for me there since a lot of their hires are straight out of college
Unclear career path outside of buying and planning

Advice to Senior Management – The leadership at QVC is great; Mike George (CEO) has helped me out on several projects for business school and is overall very open to collaboration and moving in new directions
