Quad/Graphics – “Quad/Graphics Good Things Bad Things, Neutral things”

Pros

Quad in a unique company. I've grown comfortable with the uniforms. It seems they feed into the overall laid back nature and culture. Most of the people are great to work with, there is a good family feeling there.

Cons

I don't think the salary is competive. There is an overall lack of communication. Annual reviews are done poorly ( I've had four different manager to base this on) I was always give high levels of praise, but it was followed with no direction or goals. Any opportunity seems to what you find on your own, and you are usually only given a pat on the back for it.

Advice to Senior Management

At the core Quad is a good company. There are pockets of neglect when it comes to certain departments. There is not a good way to effectively communicate problems with out repercussions. There should be an outside firm handling whistle blowing or management issues.
