I have been working at Qualcomm as a contractor for less than a year

Pros

Get to work on the latest technologies and design state of the art technologies.

Cons

The time to roll-over is something to be worked upon by the Management.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

The time to roll-over is something to be worked upon by the Management. Because of this, there is a possibility that most of the workspace could go to greener pastures.

Former Employee - Interim Engineering Intern  in  San Diego, CA
Former Employee - Interim Engineering Intern in San Diego, CA

I worked at Qualcomm as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

    For interns:

    - Great intern activities both at work and outside of work
    - Good work life balance
    - Projects: they don't expect a lot from interns, but if you demonstrate to them that you can be trusted with more responsibility, they'll give it to you.
    - Pay is competitive
    - Housing and relocation is paid for
    - Good chance of getting a return offer if you do a good job.

    Cons

I imagine that it takes a little time to move up here. This might not be a big deal to some people.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing what you're doing. You can probably push your interns a little harder.
