I worked at Qualcomm full-time (less than a year)

Pros

Worked residential IT prior to the internship, was placed in a technical position and started learning how to support an enterprise. Personally, I had great management support and felt I was placed in the right area.

Cons

There are a lot of meetings with different groups of people. It can be extremely hard to follow someone not in your line of expertise.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

IT departments are hesitant to make an offer after an internship, unlike other areas.

I worked at Qualcomm full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    -Fantastic insurance policy
-Great half-year review cycle w/ pay raise
    -Great location (San Diego)
    -Pretty decent salary
    -People are really smart

Didn't know what to expect going into Qualcomm right out of college but I couldn't have asked for a better first job experience. I had a lot of control on how I wanted to implement the tasks I was assigned (language, frameworks, etc) and also received a lot of help from my peers when I was stuck.

    Cons

-Same routine every day made work stale pretty quickly

Work got a little too "comfortable" (which makes me feel crazy to write in the 'Cons' section) but I wanted to take advantage of my early 20s and experience the crazy rollercoaster world of startups.
