    Pros

    - Great environment for innovation
    - Employee friendly
    - Strong management team with focussed roadmap
    - QC Changes strategy based on market very dynamically to stay competitive.
    - Employee benefits, free health care insurance.

    Cons

    - Very conservative to hire more folks which is good in a way but also bad because folks are overloaded
    - Salary is okay not very good.
    - Brand name is virtually unknown to many unless you point out to them that their own phone runs QC chip at its heart.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - Get a better team for marketing.
    - Salary needs to be normalized with industry and over-time/weekend work has to be quantified monetarily.
    - Treat all your offices the same not just the mother ship in San diego

I worked at Qualcomm as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Have an internship at Qualcomm in the summer 2013. They provide good salary and good relocation package, and the overall work is also good. The people at Qualcomm are generally very nice and helpful, and they are developing cutting edge techniques.

    Cons

The food at the food court inside of the company is pretty bad. They should choose another provider. Response of the IT support is slow. The parking lot at Qualcomm is kind of small, and if you go to the office late in the morning, it is hard to find spaces to park.
