Queen's Medical Center is a good place to work.

Staff Nurse, RN (Current Employee) Honolulu, HI

ProsQueen's Medical Center is the best hospital in the state of Hawaii, and the trauma center of the pacific. Queen's administration treats the employees fairly. There are opportunities for career growth, such as a clinical ladder program for nurses.

ConsNo Parking and inadequate retirement health care benefit.

Advice to Senior ManagementYou need to create a better retirement healthcare package for your employees. Even if we start contributing towards it while we are employeed.

Challenging with limited reward and very little vision from the Executives

    Manager (Former Employee) Honolulu, HI

I worked at Queen's Medical Center full-time for more than 8 years

Pros: Great staff, knowledgeable, benefits were good, salary (though low) was… Cons: Executives don't understand what is really happening Not enough resources at all levels because of nickel and diming,… Advice to Senior Management: Come and do as you say.....more rounding with staff, listen,… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
