QuikTrip – “Great place to work, Politics reigns supreme”

Pros

the work is Fast Paced, Great pay for assistant managers/managers. Time off is never an issue. Very easy work with great co-workers.

Cons

PT employees are not compensated for the work they are required to do.
Upper Management is extremely disconnected and almost robotic.
When given 15 extra tasks to complete in a given week, supervisors harp on the 1-2 things that weren't perfect rather than the rest of the store being wonderful.
Politics is everything, if one person in upper management doesn't like you, you are screwed for the rest of your career.

Advice to Senior Management

Do not be so disconnected from the stores. Market rides and quarterly division operator rides are not sufficient enough for the store employees to have confidence that you understand everything that their job description entails. You may have worked in the stores 20 years ago but things are much different today.
