Qwest Employee Review
Qwest – “Don't work in sales & service, not worth it.”

Benefits package. It used to be the pay, but the Union is toothless and has little if any influence on the company much more.
Cons
This would be for phone sales & service area. The Avaya phone system used to route calls. The supervisors can individually "starve" an agent by giving them non productive calls on purpose. Call agents have always been told all the calls that come in are "equal" so everyone has the same chance to succeed on calls. On April 10, 2008 the Avaya system "failed". The only people on the floor receiving calls were the "trainees" that the company has instructed the Avaya system to give calls to that contain customers placing orders so the trainees can learn. And a select "few" of regular customer support operators that supervisors choose to reward as example. None of the other agents received ANY calls at all, only the calls with orders unfairly went to a select group! And has been predetermined this way all the time.
Advice to Senior Management
In my opinion, quit committing fraud, and truly enforce anti cramming on the sales floor. Fairly distribute calls in the phone system.
