Qwest Employee Review
Qwest – “Know what your getting in to.”
1 of 1 people found this helpfulPros
I worked in a downtown Denver office which is great for lunch activities. also because gas and parking is high right now, a good part of this just is that I can use the bus system. Being close to the mall there are a lot of after hours activities. the office has a bank and shop for quick food. I guess the best thing about this job was the starting salary.
Cons
About the salary for the next four years I got no incease pay, that is not what they said would happen. The benefit package was not what I was told about it was much less. I was surprised at how small the match to the 401k was. I knew going in to the job the hours may be long a few time each year but it became 55 hours weeks and it was every week, finally from the fist day everyone around me was stressed about lossing their job and it still coutinues to this day.
Advice to Senior Management
evaluate the long term risk of a plan not just the short term, work on being upfront with the workers
