    I worked at R.V. Kuhns full-time

    Pros

Some of the employees are extremely bright and many are friendly. There is a bit of flexibility which allows for a solid balance between work/personal time - for certain departments and dependent on the department head.

    Cons

Salaries are significantly lower than industry standards (for all departments). The firm is run by consultants who are good at consulting but not very effective at running a business. As the other reviews have stated, extremely mismanaged and management decisions lack transparency. In recent times the executive committee has made some questionable senior-level hires/decisions. The firm is also highly stratified in terms of departments and with that there is an extreme feeling of inequality throughout many departments. There were also some ethical concerns with certain management decisions which contributed to a number of issues including the departure of 4 high level consultants - who subsequently started their own firm. The employee turnover is exceptionally high, especially for a firm of its size.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire a full time professional to run/manage the firm, not a senior consultant. Pay more attention to the feedback of all departments not just the consulting staff. Say what you mean and do what you say. Its no secret at the firm that the executive committee only does whats in its best interest and not in the best interest of the whole firm.
