Pros

Randy's Ring & Pinion has a very good group of people working for them This changes day to day!

Cons

When you walk around this place you see no interest in being at work. Its a matter of keeping your job. I cannot believe how many sharp and willing people work for a company that has no trust in those who work for them. Randy wants to double the size of the company in no less than three to five years. I will look from the side lines and watch you slide!

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make a decision and invest in your people. Do not take the stance that people will figure out what you may think is obvious as a long time employee. The events you have during the year for company moral would be better spent on day to day activities. As management, look at yourself and how you would like to be treated as a customer and employee and you will get your answer. There are so many companies around the world that make huge revenue. Does that make them honest? My view is being a bully in business or to your employees does not justify the revenue.

    Pros

Good pay. Good vacation time available for longer term employees. If you enjoy after market automotive pastimes it is an interesting job.

    Cons

Do not accept a job here unless you are looking for a paycheck to hold you over until your desired job calls back. The culture was miserable. Management is intimidating and grossly unable to manage most businesses core asset; it's employees. Case in point: The "positive" reviews on this website are obviously planted here at the direction of the company president or owner. This place is all about intimidation and turnover; they try to show growth by firing people as often as legally possible. Beware, whatever pitch is used to hire you will be full of falsehoods; think long and hard about taking a job there, it really isn't worth it.

    Pros

RRP provides the opportunity to challenge yourself. You have a support group that enables you to achieve at a high level. You are surrounded by other professionals who are truly good at what they do. The company is small enought that you can present ideas and implement changes quickly. You have the sense that your input counts. The company is constantly trying to grow. Most of the time, in more than one direction at a time.

    Cons

In a smaller company you may feel extra stress when your short on people. Workload may seem overwhelming at times. Space is at a premium, with growth comes challenges.
