    I have been working at RE/MAX part-time

    Pros

Learn a lot about the real estate industry, access to a lot of valuable information. Meet a lot of people, lots of networking opportunities. Good entry level position.

    Cons

Real estate receptionists at busy offices work very hard for very little money. Basically a minimum wage job for with a maximum stress level. Agents are very demanding, and broker owners tend to care about money and not the happiness of support staff.

    Pros

The perception the public has regarding Re/Max agents is true. These are experienced, no nonsense agents that know the ropes regarding sales and listings. Part timers and inexperienced agents will find the costs prohibitive. This is really a wonderful way to get national/international advertising to promote yourself as a real estate professional. Not your mom and pop type place.

    Cons

Not really much help available if you do find you need some. You are charged for absolutely everything because your commission split is so good.

    Advice to Management

It's great when you can have a non selling manager in place
