REI has been a rewarding place to work.

Project Manager (Current Employee) Kent, WA

ProsThe healthcare and benefits package is good. The merchandise discounts are enticing for those who are passionate about outdoor gear and clothing. The vacation and sabbatical time offered are the fabulous. It is a fairly large corporation with many opportunities for advancement and growth.

ConsThe work/life balance this company touts as a stand-out work environment is on a sad decline.

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't shoot the messenger. If you want people to be risk takers, don't punish them when they fail.
