I have been working at REI part-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

A wonderful community of like-minded people. Overall sense of the company's commitment to its employees and core values. Great deals on great gear!

Cons

There's very little negative to share. Perhaps they could tone down the sometimes excessive focus on selling memberships.
