    Pros

The people are very friendly, some are smart, and if you're lucky enough to be signed on to one of the CEO's favored sidekicks, you'll learn a lot and be treated well.

    Cons

There is a lot of politics and favoritism. You need to be "in" with CEO, or at least one of her 3 favorites, in order to get any sort of recognition. Hours are ridiculous, and those who stay late and complain about being busy (even if their work is sup-par) aren't seen as inefficient but rather as go-getters. Negotiating a fair salary is like going into battle - the CFO relishes what he perceives to be as a personal challenge, rather than fostering a culture of rewarding good work. While there are a few good managers, senior leadership is completely out of touch not only as to who is going the actual work and the quality (or lack thereof) but with the shifting digital landscape.

Very little opportunity for growth since the agency is way too top-heavy as it is. Don't work here for more than a year (most talent does not anyway, you'll see the high turnover.)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Set up an objective, trustworthy HR system, including employee reviews and assessments. So many people are promoted and/or passed over because there are no real reviews - it's all politics and who's "visible" aka a favorite.
