Pros

The company cares about its employees, you are not just an employee id # working on an account, they genuinely care if people are happy/satisfied with their jobs/in their roles at the company. The CEO is very hands on. Expects hard work from all employees from the ground up, but she definitely leads by example. She also appreciates all of the hard work from others and tries to show that through great benefits and fair salaries.

Cons

The hours are still a bit challenging. It would make a huge difference if the office closed at 5:30pm, rather than 6pm. Some of the junior staff is expected to stay all hours while senior execs basically run out the door at 6pm.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Quicker to promote not just favorites, but those truly working the hardest. The opportunities are there, encourage everyone to work for it, that it is possible. Also, don't make people feel guilty for taking vacation, they are entitled to it.

    Pros

Bagel fridays are good. There is some free alcohol. There is a summer event every year. There are a few good people but the turnover is quick so get to know them soon.

    Cons

The CEO does not know how to run a company. Her (lack of) ideas are worn out and she is anti-change. She pays the upper management well (whether they deserve it or not) and pays everyone else a less than livable wage. Underpaid employees come in on vacation days and weekends with absolutely no recognition whatsoever. CEO LOVES procrastination and you will pay for it when deadlines come.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please learn how to manage. Stop promising clients what you can't provide and making your employees pay for it. Stop acting so spoiled because your clients are continuously leaving for a reason. Recognize talent and hard work. Pay employees enough to eat. STOP WAITING UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE. 15+ employees out of 80 have left in the past 6 months for a reason. Also, stop calling yourself a creative agency when your creativity is extremely questionable.

I have been working at RF Binder full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Mostly friendly coworkers
Chance to work with a few big clients to help build your resume

    Cons

Very top-heavy organization, meaning middle and entry-level staff are overworked (and underpaid)
Work is only recognized if you're "in" with the CEO and her favorite EMD/MDs
Management has no idea who is actually doing what work and how much of it relying instead on personality and who stays late
A lot of politics and in-fighting
Everyone under a managing director position is continuously looking for a better offer

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make the paths to promotions and pay raises clearer and fairer. As it is, reeks of favoritism and secrecy
Stop low-balling employees, especially the CFO that seems to genuinely enjoy cutting people's pay because he likes the thrill of negotiating. Even with glowing performance reviews, one has to fight tooth and nail to get a word in with him.
Be more open to new ideas instead of relying on the same 3 people to always create the strategy (behind closed doors), just giving lip-service to other teams
