Great place for those in career transition, but still want to keep working on interesting projects.

Management Consultant (Former Employee)
Irvine, CA

ProsYou have a lot of freedom when choosing projects and clients. Work / Life balance for consultants is a critical component of their business model, which is great for those who don't want to be road warriors.

ConsLittle to no career path for consultants to move up through the company
LT tenured leaders in key markets, which doesn't allow others to move up
Tend to hire from the Big 4 or the Ivy Leagues for internal roles
