I have been working at RPG full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

A Company that truly takes care of the employees and offers career growth

    Cons

Feudal management system in the top level. Less hunger for growth and expansion.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Expand the open door policy in the Middle Management Level. The Group needs to be more aggressive in their approach especially in the areas where they have tough competition like Retail, Entertainment etc.

    Recommends
    Positive Outlook
    Approves of CEO

Freedom to innovate but a lot of bureaucracy & hierarchy

I worked at RPG full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Freedom to innovate, design and implement new processes & ideas for growth, some senior leaders are very encouraging & interested in coaching talent. Working in CEAT, Raychem or Group RPG is a delight in terms of learning & opportunities for growth.

    Cons

Restriction on personal freedom (for eg KEC senior mgmt forbids employees from eating non-veg food in work premises), elitism, employee unfriendly policies wrt work-life balance, some managers indulge in workplace bullying but despite escalation nothing much changes for the employee. Plus there is a lot of bureaucracy and it takes forever for decisions to made and project implementation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I think there is a lot of undesirable behavior in the middle mgmt cadre (Senior Mgrs, DGMs etc) that goes under the radar because of immense adherence to hierarchy from HODs when communicating with teams.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    Approves of CEO
