Former Employee - Director of Claims in Horsham, England (UK)

I worked at RSA Group full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Good technical approach and wide exposure to both personal and commercial areas of the business. Skill base is very experienced and technical

    Cons

Over analysis and takes too long to implement anything, the organisation structure is too beaurocratic. A lot of the staff are hanging on for their pension so its heavily biased to over 50 s compared to the competition

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Become more agile and invest more in technology

    Doesn't Recommend

    Disapproves of CEO

Former Employee - Intern in London, England (UK)

I worked at RSA Group as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

Friendly atmosphere, relatively easy work, pays fairly well, some areas of the business are interesting, global company so plenty of opportunity for secondments.

    Cons

Doesn't seem to be much of an atmosphere of competitiveness or a desire to excel, CEO is not a particularly impressive man, profits not particularly high - attitude to risk is frustrating.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Become less risk averse, try to challenge employees more.
