I have been working at RSC Solutions full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Good hours… come and go as you please
Nice office… only 5 employees in it when it can hold 50+

Cons

Consultants are not paid on time and RSC uses the classic "something went wrong with our payroll service" excuse
I used to work with about 12-15 co-workers, now it's down to only 3 recruiting/sales employees in the office
Business Development/Recruiting commissions are 5+ month behind schedule
Leadership is too concerned about other issues than focusing on RSC's core business

Learn to admit when you're wrong and learn how to budget your money

    I worked at RSC Solutions full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Nice offices, great views, and good location
    - Fun team of Salespeople & Recruiters (although most good ones have left)
    - Freedom to come and go as you please. Good hours.

    Cons

    - Employees are often paid late. Commissions are never on time, and often months after they meant to be paid.
    - Consultants and Independent Contractors often get their paychecks late.
    - Management is a disaster from the top down. No idea about the current business they are in.
    - A lot of erratic behavior. People are constantly fired on a whim. Misguided decision making. They have gone from about 40-50 internal employees, to under 10.
    - No process. Constant change of strategy, and no accountability.
    - Health benefits & other perks (cell phone reimbursement) were cut.
    - No 401k.
    - Very few direct client relationships and repeat business customers. Negative reputation in the market.
    - Absolutely no loyalty to Salespeople & Recruiters. Constantly trying to shortchange people and cut their commissions/earnings.
    - They outsource all of their recruiting efforts overseas, despite claiming otherwise.
    - No strategy, no direction. Just a lot of yelling and screaming, and unneeded stress on the very few performers.
    - A lot of closed door meetings, unannounced visitors, etc. No transparency and constant lying about state of the business.
    - Absolutely no career growth, or future opportunities for young employees looking to take the next step.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Decide on a strategy and stick with it. Don't be blinded by a false reality, and don't disrespect and lie to your employees. Create a better environment where people want to come to work. Decisions should not be made depending on a change in mood, and if you want to grow, you have to build more trust in those who work for you.

    - Nice office and views
    - Great hours, 9-5PM culture for everyone
    - Free coffee and filtered water

    Cons

    - Poor business decisions from C-Level leadership
    - Lack of business due to poor reputation on the street
    - High turnover of employees both sales and recruiting
    - Poor organizational structure
    - CEO discontinued free medical benefits and cell phone reimbursement for all employees
    - Active consultants not being paid on time, often multiple weeks behind schedule
    - Commission checks for sales/recruiting are 3+ months in arrears

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - Learn to respect people and you might have a successful company one day
