    Pros

The best reason to work here is the freedom you have at a kiosk. It was a better company when they had the SCK division.

    Cons

Let me start. The Target Mobile side is nothing like Radioshack stores. They do not have the same sales, rules, contest, and receive every phone later. This makes it confusing with guest who know they are a Radioshack company. Pay is lowest in the wireless industry and the new comp plan does not encourage employees to sale.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Develop a better training regime for sales reps and managers and promote from within.

I have been working at RadioShack full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

This company will let you make all the money that you are capable of making. There is no limit to how much you can make.

    Cons

You fight your own battle. You will work like a cow on the field. The company has very little way to help driving traffic to your store while your payroll is cut to about 80% of what it should be. As a manager, you end up working between 50 - 60 hours a week without overtime paid. You won't get a day of vacation until 3rd year anniversary. Core benefits such as medical, dental, and vision cost 1/3 of your paycheck for you and your spouse.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you want to keep the best employees, you have to treat them like ones. By that, I mean understand what your employees' basic needs are. Having a core benefits that cost them 1/3 of their salary is not telling them that you care. It is telling them that you don't care about their and their families' well being.
