I have been working at RadioShack part-time for less than a year

Pros

Very laid back professional environment.
Opportunity to make more money on commission based sales.
Challenging adventure with flexibility.

Cons

Will not work for you if your not self-motivated.
Have to be able to pick up a lot of information on your own if you are not sales savvy.
Not a job for you if you are counting on a high hourly pay.

    Micromanagement
    No matter how good you are doing, you will hear where you are failing
    Hard to make a bonus given the criteria given
    Metrics Driven company, its not about the customers, its how well you are doing on a dashboard. You could be missing YOY numbers but as long as you are hitting your metrics you are a hero

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Talk to your customers and find out why they come shop us over and over. Stop putting all your resources in wireless where you are set up to lose money. Focus on your core categories that actually make you money.
