RadioShack – “More Micro Management than "Office Space"”
1 of 1 people found this helpfulPros
Good benifits, middle management often treats you with respect.
Cons
Your life belongs to radioshack, 51+ MINIMUM hours per week. No flexibility for availability. Demands everything be 100% perfect, but offers no assistance to reach goals. Outrageous demands from upper management. A stapler in the wrong place on your desk will result in failing the stockroom portion of compliance audits, the District manager level will come into your store every other week, and tear apart anything they find, including walls that need painting, but than will refuse to allow you to buy paint, or any supplies needed to complete their demands.
Advice to Senior Management
Try to spend less time telling managers where to put a stapler, and get back to doing what a retail store should... SELLING PRODUCTS.
