Advice to ManagementAdvice

Company need clear and consistent direction from upper management. Compensation plan for associates has improved, yet management has been forgotten and still makes very low wages relatively speaking.

Current Employee - Assistant Store Manager in Shawnee, OK

I have been working at RadioShack full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Fun atmosphere, good managers, great spiffs. Usually make more than 12$ an hour as a regular associate. Vacations, Sick days, paid personal days. Insurance. Always room to rank up!

    Cons

    Micromanaged.
Very forceful about phone sells. (yes phone sells make the most money; however, it turns away some customers.)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Let employees express who they are and allow them to work their specialty. Pay more spiff for items that make more money (Batteries, RS and auvio items) Encourage employees to want to push our product!

    Recommends
    Positive Outlook
    Approves of CEO
