Corporate treats employees like worthless trash!

Store Manager (Former Employee)
Austin, TX

ProsLearn a lot about technology and products.

ConsRadio shack pay is dismal to the amount of knowledge you must have, they do not care about their employees nor their managers. RadioShack works you to death for no pay and all the while they do not provide you any benefits or pay raises.

Advice to Senior ManagementGet a clue treat your employees like crap and pay them nothing an hr and lie to the about commissions that you put such high requirements that the employee will never reach! Your scum and need to work in your employees shoes for a month and realize that the employees should get payed accordingly to their knowledge base and show them that you care about the base line employee that is making the profit that pays your salary.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Fun... until you get into Management

    Store Manager (Former Employee)
    San Antonio, TX

I worked at RadioShack full-time for more than 3 years

Pros: - Continuous learning - Easily advance into Store Management - Comfortable uniforms - Fun for anyone… Cons: - Too much concentration on wireless sales - Management can be consistently derogatory - Hires almost anyone into district… Advice to Senior Management: Hire or promote from within, and don't bring in outside employees for district management.
