I have been working at Rady Children's Hospital

    Pros

Patient care staff is exemplary and families are well cared for.

    Cons

Management seeks to undermine positive morale with gossip, politics, retribution against employees. Pay is also extremely low comparatively.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Seek first to promote the welfare of children and families, and the staff will respect and enjoy for the organization.

I have been working at Rady Children's Hospital

    Pros

Very talented employees that care deeply about the patients and the community that they serve. The level of pride is incredible.

    Cons

Leadership likes to think that they are "open" to hearing from front-line staff but nothing ever seems to change. Employees fear speaking out...some that do speak out, seem to no longer work for the organization.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Trust your employees (that were obviously respected enough to be hired in the first place) to take care of their business. Trust and respect go hand in hand.
