Pros

It has become just a job

Cons

IF your in IT then currently your career is limited, company is heading down the path of outsourcing IT. Raley's e-mail platform is getting migrated to Google Mail, they are outsourcing hardware support to texas. They are aiming to be innovative, however they refuse to implement innovative ideas. They are technologically decades behind, no central pharmacy, no mail order pharmacy, no descent online ordering applicications. IT management has made outsourcing appealing by only buying top of line hardware, and over building it's infrastructure, but they never get around to applying the finishing layers.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hurry up and close the doors.

    Pros

    If you're a student, they will usually work around your schedule. You are usually given the days off that you request. Great way to make new friends with customers.

    Cons

    There are cliques. If management "likes" you, you will be treated great. If they don't, be prepared to work terrible shifts and less hours.
    New work schedules come out only 3 days before the new week starts. Makes it very hard to plan anything.
    Pay scale is terrible. Must work 1040 hours before a raise and it's usually less than 50 cents at a time.

    Treat hard working employees like you treat your "favorites."
