The benefits are incomparable at Random House, and overall there are some really creative and passionate people who work there. People tend to stay a long time at this company.

Cons

Little opportunity for advancement, need to make a lateral shift to another publishing company in order to come back to RH in a higher capacity. Low pay, though it's comparable to the rest of the publishing industry in general. Little communication from senior management in terms of what's going on in the company
