I have been working at Random House full-time (less than a year)

Pros

Amazing people that care about you, are creative, fun, kind, easygoing, and want you to be happy more than anything. They don't care about HR requirements so long as you work hard and continue to work hard.

Cons

Menial labor, but that was in the job description. I don't think I can do 20 words on this. There are no cons. This company is so big, yet they meet their employee's salaries really well. So Yea i have no cons.

I worked at Random House full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Fantastic benefits, smart, independent-minded coworkers and management. Great books and publishing programs keep you invested in the projects. I can't speak for all teams, but my supervisor and the other teams I witnessed were all built on mutual respect of ideas and the work/personal life balance.

    Cons

With any very large company, it can be challenging to acclimate yourself at first, but Random House does it's best to keep a small company feel by giving employees opportunities to contribute and participate in Town Hall meetings.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing what you're doing, Random House knows how to keep employees invested in their work and they have a great workforce to show for it.
