I have been working at Randstad Technologies full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Control your work schedule/great work-life balance; entrepreneurial spirit; great people to work with/small teams

Cons

Horrible/non-existent 401k match for consultants; sub-par PTO; Since this is mainly a staffing company everything is geared towards that and they make no adjustments for the other types of holding companies and business offerings.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Your consultants are the employees doing all of the work and driving the business. Please stop treating us like 2nd class citizens and give us same benefits as the rest of the company.

Randstad Bought Out Our Company Only to Not Improve Anything

I worked at Randstad Technologies as a contractor (more than a year)

    Pros

Weekly paychecks. Nice co-workers. Free parking.

    Cons

This is in regards to the YP Holdings contract. Randstad Technologies bought out our former contracting company, Technisource (see the reviews left there regarding this contract) and we were hoping things would improve, but they did not. While this is a supposed marketing internet company, you are treated as you would be working at an outsourced call center, with a draconian time clock that must be strictly adhered to (an obvious issue as the office is located inconveniently OTP off of 285 where traffic is ALWAYS a problem) as well as an outdated dress code (especially for an internet company.) Everything is by the minute and by the book, there is no wiggle room for anything and management and on-site HR specializes in the micromanaging style. Upper management is more worried about how much time you spend in the bathroom than they are improving their products and providing quality service to their clients. There is no morale and morale building ideas are always shot down by YP managers. The pay for this contract, from SEM to copywriting to web design is way below market value and you will never see even a cost of living increase. This may be an ok entry level job for someone straight out of school but don't stay longer than six months. They offer "benefits" which are way too expensive to actually afford ($100+ weekly for mediocre benefits), and you are only offered these after you've been at the company for over a year.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your workers' needs. Listen to the latest trends in internet marketing. Attempt to boost morale or the mass exodus of workers will continue.
