Student Success is top priority.
Proprietary College that cares about students, financial obligations and placement
Offers scholarships to employees for education
Collaboration among campuses

Cons

Economy has caused a slow down in hiring staff leaving those already hired to do many jobs
Many manual processes that could be upgraded.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to look for ways to make this a top business in which to work.

    I worked at Rasmussen College part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Sorry but there are none.

    Cons

    1.Training after instructing employment start-
    2. compensation doesn't meet job requirements-- your stated compensation is higher than I was paid --
    3. students are not prepared for class-- prerequisites are inappropriate -- should be classed with Westwood-- students insult instructors -- 1 student in class of 30 makes the grade-- 30% of students in class do the work on time --
    4. students do not work independently and expect instructor to spoon feed them ALL of the answers--
    5. employees are expected to exert effort 4 times more than should be necessary--
    6. 50% more administrators and middle level educators than necessary--

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Answer this question: Who is the most important employee in your organization? You or the people that interact with the Students, i.e. instructors and help desk. I can prove my comments i wasted my time here

    Pros

    pay out bonus as agreed, co-workers are amazing, HQ by highway so easy commute, free online education and other perks.

    Cons

    unreasonable executive management, always keep you on your toes, Exec do not respect basic needs of others as work life balance, exec management operates as if they are own you and your entire being.
