    Pros

Really smart coworkers, really interesting work, and really important work. Also pays well for the area, including graduate education reimbursement.
Most coworkers have a cynically optimistic view of the bureaucracy, which is refreshing.

    Cons

Cubicles, limited career advancement opportunities (besides the grad education track), and Dilbert is no longer a hilarious cartoon for me because it's way too real.
The bureaucracy, if not dealt with humorously, can be depressing.

    Advice to Management

Why limit the amount of "Exceeds Expectations" given in performance reviews? I work with quite a few guys deserving of that (if not "Far Exceeds") review but they will not get it this year.
