Raytheon – “I would not recommend this company to anyone other than a minority”

Pros

Tucson is a nice place to live but not to raise children, Job security is good, Products are interesting, Lots of programs

Cons

Facilities are dirty, Facilities space is being reduced, Bathrooms stink, Lots of incompetent managers who got there for the wrong reasons, The average raise at Raytheon did not keep up with the Consumer Price Index, Raytheon is the only place to work in Tucson for engineers so once you're here there's nowhere else to go and consequently raises are low.

Advice to Senior Management

You are out of touch with what is really going on. Why should I listen to you when, for example your "Engineering Re-Org" was implemented in title only but it is business as usual?
