Pros

Good benefits, pension, 9-80 work schedule, flexible hours, option to work at home when needed, at least they've finally realized what a joke the "employer of choice" tagline was

Cons

Political, IDS-IT used to be a good place to work but now it's become a sweatshop, layoffs a regular event, they say they care about the employees but don't believe it

Advice to Management

Start caring about the employees again, start treating work-life balance as another tagline to be spouted when convenient then ignored

    Pros

I like the work we do and working with senior fellows

    Cons

Although there is a functional organization that should care about career development. I feel that I have to beg for training, for opportunities and find resources myself.
I have been 5 years with the company, rated as as exceeds expectations and still have not received a promotion....

    Advice to Management

    Too much bureaucracy
