Pros

Relatively easy to move around and work on different projects. Proactive behavior is generally rewarded. People are nice. Job is stable. Hours are normal.

Cons

Given size of company, politics is huge. Difficult to be agile and to make decisions since everything has to go through a process. Some engineers who have been with the company for a long time refuse to accept change.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be flexible and be willing to change if a process doesn't make sense

    Pros

Pay is great. That's the only reason to stay there if you can handle the rest of the stress that you're given.

    Cons

Management is terrible. They don't communicate with each other. They also record your conversations without your consent sometimes so be careful of what you say. Don't trust HR. It exists to cover upper management's butts when they make mistakes. Don't fall for their "niceness". The most unethical management I've encountered in my career. Management expects you to work overtime without getting paid. They will be all nice to you when they invite you for an interview but you will see their real faces when you actually work for them.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing what you are doing and you will see the employees disappear soon.

    Pros

In general the people are great. The company is large and if you are willing to move there can be plenty of opportunities. Raytheon is bottom line focused.

    Cons

In some ways the company is too big. There are unnecessary silos between businesses.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Shrink corporate and collaborate more between businesses.
