I worked at Raytheon as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

For an internship, gave a comprehensive project that applied principals from school. Management at all levels, as well as other employees ensured that all the new people to the company felt welcomed. Overall, it was a great environment to work in, and also allowed for a challenging project.

    Cons

There is quite a bit of bureaucracy. As an intern, I didn't run into have many problems with it, but from talking to other employees, it seemed like it could be something of a hassle.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The orientation and first week or so could have gone more smoothly. There seemed to be a breakdown in communication between IT and HR as to how many people would be starting.
