    Pros

GREAT work life balance, generally good people, Awesome location,

    Cons

You really have to "wait your turn" or bide your time. If you perform well they will give your respect, and recognize it, and give you more responsibility. However, they won't compensate you for it. So you find yourself doing much more work for not much more pay. Outside of that one complaint, it's a great company, but given the opportunity to advance at another company, I couldn't overlook it.

I worked at Raytheon full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

benefits, competitive salary, 9/80 flex schedule, very intelligent co-workers, casual Fridays, interesting technology, roles are well-defined, top-notch tools and applications to do your job, ability to rotate into different positions

    Cons

benefit reductions (pension is not available for new hires, 100% 401k match went down from 4% to 3% until 5 years of service), typical large company bureaucracy, manager favoritsm, defense industry currently in challenging times

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Strive to give a consistent image across all business divisions and offices, not just with words, but follow through with actions.
