Raytheon – “Stay Away!”

Pros

Work life balance is not too bad if you just put in your required forty hours and not let them work you to death.

Cons

This place is horrible! Lack of communication. Inadequate training especially for new hires. New people are left to figure everything out on there own with no training and expected to complete tasks with no direction. Everybody assumes you know what they are talking about and how to complete the work. Trying to figure out how to manipulate the financial systems here is a joke.

Advice to Senior Management

Learn to train new hires thoroughly. Don't let them drown. Too many new hires come in and for the first 5 months have nothing to do, then out of no where are given a tremendous responsibility and expected to perform with little or no direction.
