Pros

Competitive pay Provide tools needed to do job Overall the benefits are good though healthcare is relatively expensive

Cons

Too many people with narrowly focused jobs - don't get bigger picture. Way too much mandatory training. Feeling of "Us vs them" amongst departments. Constantly re-orging company. My business line has had 3 in the last 4 years

Advice to Management

Having a position of power doesn't mean you're smarter than those who work for you.

    Pros

Excellent place to grow and enhance your skills, senior engineers willing to mentor, ability to work different projects, company is very team oriented.

    Cons

Depending on the site, no work/life balance, no clear plan to bring in new business, very focused on DOD contracts, heavily loaded with upper management.
