Pros

Raytheon is a great company to work for. The management and HR that I work with are top notch and they have a very competitive compensation package.

Cons

As with any larger company, monthly training requirements can get tedious.

Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing.

    Pros

The people and environment are wonderful. Skill sets learned are invaluable. They do support continuing education and will pay as long as it does not interfere with current position.

    Cons

Rules not followed or are too subjective growth not really promoted and salary and increases are low..

Good company if you are interested in a slow to change environment that has a good work-life balance.

    Pros

Work-life balance. Engineering company. Nice matching 401k

    Cons

Difficult to advance in upper management unless you have been there 15+ years. It's more about who you know than whether you are the best candidate. Status quo is admired. If you are looking for a high performing team, look elsewhere. Question about future given market.

    Advice to Management

Advance women and reduce the old boy network, where long timers advance / stay in position even if they are average performers. Management can be more transparent with employees about career paths.
