Pros

Large company, lots of places to move around.

Cons

Managers have no clue what they are doing. Upper management doesnt know who anyone is. Lots of grand plans, no plan for execution. You are a cog in the machine. There is no loyalty to employees.

Advice to Management

Stop cutting out benefits. Stop telling us how its great to get less for the same work. Know the names of employees you manage.

    Pros

From my 36 years of work experiences, what an outstanding place to work. The culture, management, and the care of their people top to bottom is unsurpassed. They don't just want the best out of you, they also want the best for you too.

    Cons

Sometimes when the contracts run out there are no positions that you can be placed at. However, you can be called back up if something arises.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing, I am a firm believer in, "Take care of your people and they will take care of you."

    Pros

You can make Raytheon your oyster if you make the right connections. If not, your fuse is lit and will go off before you retire.

    Cons

Great potential as an employer is marred by terrified management. Stories of shrieking management from other Raytheon sites are true; I've seen them. Still, if you can withstand it, there are rewards to be harvested.

    Advice to Management

    Seek counseling. Soon.
